Jack as Santa: Merry X-mas!

That's right my dear reader. That is an actual photo of me waiting patiently by an elevator right before walking into a family X-mas party to play the part of Santa.

And how did it go you ask? Well, let's just say that (1) the right-hand side of my beard started falling off as soon as I walked into the apartment, and (2) Santa had to walk barefoot because otherwise it would have been obvious he was wearing jeans and flip flops. But all was well...not sure the 3 and 4-year-olds noticed a thing...

Merry X-mass everyone!

You look like you need to drop a yule log or two.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I don't know. 4 year olds can be pretty observant. My 4 year old granddaughter at her preschool Christmas party said "That's not Santa Claus. That's Mr. Mike." (Mr Mike is the preschool director's husband.) Fortunately she said it to her parents, and did not announce it to all the kids.

Ok, my Santa is old, and I was not sitting on his knee. You are a much better Santa, Jack. I hope you had as much fun as the kids? And who said lawyers aren't fun?

@Marissa,

That's actually pretty accurate.

@Jerry,

I hope you are wrong. Would hate to disappoint those kids.

@Nancy,

You can sit on my lap any time.

Was too focused on getting it right so probably should have had more fun.

You look good in red. I think it's your color. (Ho, ho, ho!)

Merry Christmas, BTW. :)
